Mission
The mission of the Behavioral Sciences Club is to foster a vibrant community for ALL students interested in the study of psychology, sociology, social work [et, al.] in pursuing a career in Behavioral Sciences, and or are just interested in their own self-development. We are dedicated to promoting self and social awareness, using the understanding of psychological and sociological principles through engaging discussions, educational events, and collaborative activities. Our goal is to support academic and professional growth by providing resources, networking opportunities, and a platform for sharing knowledge and insights. As well as educating ourselves as to how exactly we could make an impact in today's society, through volunteer work, hosting outreach events for those in need, and overall helping those who need it most. We strive to create an inclusive environment that encourages different perspectives, curiosity, critical thinking, and the application of psychological concepts to real-world challenges.

To provide students at Concordia University Texas meetings and efforts to lobby for policies that address climate change, develop transferable professional skills, and create a platform to give students the ability to make meaningful changes in their community and create the political will for a livable world by enabling individual breakthroughs through the exercise of personal and political power.

4. To help students at Concordia University Texas generate the political will necessary for the passage of CCL’s "Carbon Fee and Dividend", "Healthy Forests", and "Electrifying America" agendas.

The goal of Tornados 4 Life is to inform students on issues of all forms of life: depression, suicide, abortion, homelessness, foster and adoption, anxiety, human trafficking, etc. The purpose is to teach students to advocate for life from a gospel motivated perspective from fertilization to forever! This year we did "everyone deserves a birthday" cupcake event, helped the mission club in taking over 30 students to Beautiful Feet at Concordia Nebraska, Life month with five speaks in chapel, attended the march for life downtown in Austin, and made tie-blankets to donate to UpBring(foster and adoption center).
