Summer Housing Deadline is THIS SATURDAY!
The Summer Housing Deadline is this Saturday. Please submit your Housing Intent Form by no later than THIS SATURDAY, February 1st, 2025. Failure to submit your intent form may forfeit your ability to secure Summer housing.
Please note the following information regarding 12-Month Housing and Summer Housing eligibility:
What is 12-Month Housing?
For the Fall2024/Spring2025 academic year, Concordia Texas is excited to offer 12-month agreements in our residence halls, where students can now stay in their rooms for the summer. However, living on campus during the summer is optional. Students who choose not to stay for the summer are eligible for a $300 housing credit for the following academic year (distributed at $150 per semester).
Who is eligible?
Enrolled students who started living on campus in Fall 2024 and continue through the Spring are eligible to live on campus through the Summer at no additional cost.
Students will be placed in the same housing occupancy type as they resided for the Spring 25 Semester. All Summer Housing will be in Alumni/Founders Hall.
Students eligible for 12-month housing but not wanting to stay on campus will be eligible to store their items on campus in lieu of the $300 housing credit.
*Students who moved into the residential halls in the Spring are eligible to stay in the halls for the Summer, but will pay the following Summer Housing rates:
Single: $4,240
Double: $2,125
Triple: $1,475
Are there any requirements for students?
- Students will follow the same rules and guidelines as the regular terms as found in the Residential Life Handbook
- Students must complete the Summer Housing Intent Form and indicate that they will be staying on campus (or storing their belongings) by the set deadline to be eligible for 12-month Housing.
- Students storing their belongings on campus for the summer will not have access to their belongings.
- Students must be enrolled in the next Fall term by April – any student not enrolled for the Fall term by the April deadline may lose their Summer Housing slot.
- Students who choose to use the Summer Housing option are expected to live at least a majority of the Summer in the halls and will be asked to indicate their reason for staying: taking classes, working in the area, or needing Summer housing.
